How do I change or reset the person who's sending out notifications?

Note: You must be a System Admin and have the SCB Administrator Permission Set to follow these steps

We often find that the person who originally initiated the Notification Engine is no longer active in your org, thus the notifications do not fire properly from that person's user record. Or, you would like to have your name to appear as the sender of the emails and chatter updates, so you will need to restart the Job Daemon from your salesforce login.


1. Go to Setup
2. Type and click into Scheduled Jobs from the Quick Find Search box
3. Locate and delete the JobDaemon
4. Go to the Contest Engine Support tab
5. Click Setup Wizard
6. Click Let's Go and proceed to Step 4 (click "next" on everything else)
7. Click Start Notification Engine
