Scorecard Sidebar

For the entire LevelEleven Performance Scorecard app, we now provide more screen real estate for users to see the data that matters most to them.

Prior to this release, the sidebar included user information, the ability to switch between a personal and manager scorecard view, a recommendation for what to focus on, and access to the out-of-office calendar. With the new release, we have made the sidebar more narrow while maintaining access to the same capabilities. The only item moving off the sidebar is the focus recommendation, which has moved onto the Activity page.

This new user experience should provide a cleaner working environment and will allow Performance Scorecard to scale even better across multiple screen sizes.

Coaching UI / UX Redesign

This release improves the user experience for all teams who are licensed to use
LevelEleven Coaching. Coaching Notes, Success Plans, and Action Items all received an upgrade.

Coaching Notes

The previous coaching notes design (see image below) included coaching notes as cards. Once the manager chose a specific rep, the manager was required to view coaching notes for each rep separately.

Previous Coaching UI

Based on customer feedback, we have streamlined the experience of managing coaching notes (see image below). The most requested need we heard from managers was a better way to organize and access coaching notes quickly.
Updated Coaching UI

As you can see in the image above, we have addressed this in the following ways:
  • The left-hand navigation has significantly decreased in size
  • The data is front and center by transitioning from data cards to a robust data table. We also organized all of the filters along the top of the page. These changes allow for quick access to all coaching notes, regardless of their status.
  • We provide easy options to quickly filter by Coaching Template, User / Rep, Keyword, or Time Period.
  • The Status bar is both informational and a filter. It breaks down the filtered data by Status: All, Drafts, Pending, Completed. Additionally, a user can click on any status to further refine the results.
  • The filtering area can be hidden to further expand the list of available coaching notes.
  • Creating a new Coaching note focuses the user on the coaching note exclusively and then walks the user through the steps of creating a note, saving progress along the way.

As a user continues through the process, the system is saving that progress. If the user cancels out before completing the note, the system will provide them options to save their progress or discard it.

Success Plans

Success Plans received a similar upgrade as Coaching Notes. After choosing Success Plans, the user is presented with a list of all Success Plans for the next 30 days.

The results are grouped by status: All, Drafts, Scheduled, Pending, Current, and Completed. Similar to coaching notes, the success plans are filterable using the template, user or keyword options or by clicking on the status grouping desired.

Action Items

Action Plans received a similar upgrade as Notes and Success Plans. After choosing Action Items, the user is presented with a list of all Action Items for the next 30 days. The results are grouped by status (open, closed, not achieved).

The results are grouped by status: All, Drafts, Scheduled, Pending, Current, and Completed. Similar to coaching notes, the success plans are filterable using the template, user or keyword options or by clicking on the status grouping desired.

The filter bar allows the user to refine their action items search by User, Keyword, or Time Period.

Simplified Edit Goals Process

This release improves the user experience for managers editing goals for their team. The new user experience makes a better distinction between approaching Goals by user or by metric, allowing a manager to approach goal setting in the most logical way for them.

The previous Edit Goals design (see image below) required a manager to select a metric first and then set goals per team members.
Previous Edit Goals UI

Based on feedback from our customers, we learned that many managers wanted the ability to view all metrics for a given user and then update all of their goals. The redesigned Edit Goals page now provides the manager a choice on how to approach setting goals, by metric or by user.

By Metric

Setting goals in “by metric” mode has the manager first select a metric. Once selected, the right side of the page provides a single page where the manager can set goals for each team member they oversee.

By User

Setting goals in “by user” mode has the manager first select a user. Once selected, the right side of the page presents each metric in a card whereby the manager can set a goal and/or schedule goals. Please note that, when editing goals, a manager can only “schedule” goals within the “by user” view.

This update also improves navigation between different LevelEleven solutions by providing a menu to navigate to other important pages.
