LevelEleven has created Coaching for Scorecard. Coaching will help you to better communicate with your team and make sure they are focusing on the behaviors that matter, ultimately helping to increase sales performance.
Once you have purchased Coaching from your Account Executive or Account Manager, you will be provided a feature key. You will then need to input the key in Scorecard Settings.
Click Save. You will then be able to enable Coaching in each Profile within Scorecard Builder. Your first step will be to create a Coaching Template.
Notes are meant to be entered during a one-on-one, collaboratively between manager and salesperson. There are 3 Steps to every note:

The Summary can have custom questions that can be created in Scorecard Builder. You can have a couple of questions or several. Whatever makes sense for your Team/Profile. The Activity Snapshot is where a manager and salesperson can review and discuss the specifics of the salesperson's active metrics. The Action Items are your Tasks and To-Dos. To add custom questions for the Summary section, just go to the Scorecard Builder:
Click Coaching Templates:
If you would like to enable team member acknowledgment, you will need to check it off here:
Go to the Summary section next and fill in your custom questions. For help on Question Types, read this article. You can also choose who will need to answer to make a note complete; manager, team member, or both.
You can choose to send email notifications to remind managers or team members to initiate coaching. You will mark the check box "Send Coaching Reminder Email." You will then choose when your sessions will take place and how often.
(You will choose who will receive these notifications on the Profile.)
Now go back to your Profile, Enable Coaching, and add your templates.
Please note: any new Profile from here will have Coaching enabled by default. YOU MUST HAVE A COACHING TEMPLATE CREATED IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE YOUR PROFILE.
Go to the Coaching slat. Choose the template(s) you would like to add.
Make sure to mark who you would like to initiate the Coaching - team member or manager. The initiator will receive the notifications! If you choose "manager," you will select the managers on the Profile who you would like to be Coaching note initiators.
Save your Profile, and start Coaching!
When you are ready to have a Coaching session, you can Create a Note one of two ways; a manager can start a note in the Coaching tab, or the team member can start the note in their Coaching tab.
Here is how a manager may create a note:
Select the team member you would like to coach.
Click Create a Note.
Name the note, and move through the sections.
Action Items can be linked to Tasks in SF if you have them enabled in the Custom Template.
Once the note is complete, it will be sent to the team member who will be having a coaching session with you. They will see the note in their Coaching tab waiting to be viewed and for the questions to be answered.
They will then fill in their answers, and send it back.
Another way you can begin a Coaching Note is by having the team member initiate. In Coaching, the team member will Request Coaching. They will select the manager they will receive coaching from and fill in the note.
Once everything is filled in and you send the note to your manager, the manager will receive a request to coach.
The team member will see there is a request pending.
To complete Action Items, you can go back into the note, or you can select Action Items on your left side menu in the Coaching Tab.
In the note:
Just click the left check box to mark an item complete. You can always uncheck it in the completed items section.
If you have requested your team member acknowledges a note, they will review the FINAL note (after both parties have answered all questions) and click to acknowledge.
